John was in the Rubber Industry from 1956 up to Retirement in 2013 and really enjoyed it. From humble Lab Assistant to Manufacture Director, John realised that his presence was in fact useful, and now keep his interest alive by consulting with Fenix Flex.

John experienced practically all of the processes that were available to make Rubber and quite a few Plastics, from raw materials into useful articles, and contributed to the compilation of International Standards for use and application in service. 

John’s real Hose Manufacturing interests started in 1973 when much was new to the OIL & DREDGING INDUSTRY pretty much worldwide and my expertise in Rubber to Metal bonding was used towards solving problems of leakages in Offshore Operations.
